Draw Avalokiteśvara at the center of the mandala. To his left is Mahāsthāmaprāpta. Below are Tara and Bhrukuṭi. To his right is Samantabhadra . Below are Mamaki and Vajra-ceti. To the left of the east gate appears Dhṛtarāṣṭra holding a sword. To the right of the east gate appears Virūḍhaka holding a flail. To the left of the south gate appears Virūpākṣa. To the right of the south gate appears the red-eyed guardian king. They hold bow, arrow and sword. To the left of the west gate draw Manibhadra yaksa king. To the right of the west gate appears Pūrṇabhadra yaksa king. They each hold an ax and a lasso. To the left of the north gate appears Vaiśravaṇa. To the right of theh north gate appears Vajrapani.
In front of Avalokiteśvara is Amoghapasa. He has three eyes, four arms and four fangs. He wears red attire.
Kings of Brahma Heaven, Indra, Nārāyaṇa, Mahakala stand on the two sides of Avalokiteśvara. Draw a naga king on each of the four sides of the mandala.
Draw an asura on each of the four corners of the mandala.
